Chintana Shah-Gandhi is a Licensed Educational Psychologist and a School Psychologist who provides psycho-educational assessments for children, adolescents, and adults, with a background in the K-12 educational system. She has over 8 years of experience working as a school psychologist with students from the ages of 3-22 years in multiple school districts. Additionally, she has experience in managing Individualized Educational Programs (IEPs) for school aged children with disabilities.Chintana’s focus is in providing comprehensive psycho-educational assessments, which includes testing in the following domains: cognitive, behavioral, academic, and processing abilities.
Chintana obtained her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from University of California, Irvine. She obtained her Master’s (M.A.) in School Psychology from Chapman University, graduating with “Outstanding” distinction. Chintana completed her internship and practicum in the Long Beach Unified School District. While working as a school psychologist in Long Beach Unified, Chintana served on the Executive Board of Greater Long Beach Association of School Psychologists (GLBASP), an affiliate of the California Association of School Psychologists (CASP). She has focused on helping children and adolescents obtain an Individualized Educational Program (IEP) based on needs identified in the psycho-educational assessment.
